Magnets of this type are used in the wheel of most BJ5000. Newer machines may have 1 of the larger magnets (1099) mounted. As the line is wound by the wheel so that the diameter becomes smaller, the precision in the line calculation increases with respect to the number of turns. On the other hand, lines are elastic, which counteracts the precision of increased calculation. Up to 6 pulses per wheel lap can be mounted to increase precision. The formula for calculating the precision is Wheel diameter * 3.14 / Number_magnets = Line_between_pulses. Where Wheel diameter varies by 130 inwards and 220 outwards. BJ5000 is factory set to 180 and with 1 magnet the line precision is 180 * 3.14 / 1 = 565mm per pulse, or 1.76 pulses per meter.
